This palatial villa offers a gorgeous pool deck complete with an oceanfront infinity pool and heated spa overlooking the Caribbean Sea. From the moment you step inside, it becomes apparent that Blue Water Villa is an exceptional property. The interiors are tasteful yet decadent. Large windows and French glass doors flood the interiors with Caribbean sunshine no matter the time of year.
The main foyer, dining area, and kitchen all open onto the pool deck, which offers two tiled cabanas. Guests can unwind and soak in the views from lounge chairs lining the pool, or enjoy drinks at the outdoor bar before throwing dinner on the poolside propane grill for an island cookout.

Amazing Vacation Home
The Blue Water Villa far exceeds any expectations. The manager met us at the property to welcome our family and introduce us to our Island home. She provided an assistant to help unload our luggage as well. We appreciated the basket full of local treasures to kick start our amazing week. The property is perfectly cleaned and maintained. There was a mid week cleaning crew that refreshed the entire villa as well as pool and beach crews. The villa had all we needed for fun and relaxation outside, and making ourselves cozy and at home inside. The location provided unbelievable backyard snorkeling and kayaking to enjoy daily. This was our fifth trip to the Island and by far the most spectacular villa!

Wonderful Vacation
Wow! What an amazing house. Our family of seven stayed for a week at Blue Water Villa. The property manager meet us at the house and was very helpful in showing us the property. He called the next morning to check on us and came by when we needed things. The house over exceeded our expectations. Plenty of rooms and sitting area around the TV. The kitchen was well stocked and the laundry room had plenty of beach towels. Now onto the best part, the outside pool area and the view. We spent most of our days by the pool, pool bar and eating dinner on the outside table. The property provided a two person kayak with the rental, but we also rented another kayak. We did snorkel right off the property, but it was a cloudy and not much fish to see. Silver thatch does provide snorkel gear and other equipment to use during your stay. We opted for the portable speaker, but the property has outside speakers you can connect to an app to play music while you enjoy your time outside. We booked the private charter that took only our group to stingray city and two snorkel spots. Highly recommend. Warren was our captain, who was fantastic. Make sure to eat at Kaibo Marina bar and grill when coming back from your charter. We also did the bioluminescence kayak tour at Rum Point, which I recommend. There is a small grocery store, Chisholms, that carries most things for a quick stop. They also deliver. A larger grocery store, Fosters, has everything and is about 30 minutes away. Can stop by on your way to Blue Water Villa. There is a liquor store bedside Silver Thatch guest service, stop by when you check in, you get a discount. We ate at Over the Edge Restaurant, not to far from the house. We also had a photographer come to the house to take family photos. There is a house being built next to Blue Water Villa, but the workers were hardly there and didn’t affect us at all. I would highly recommend Blue Water Villa and Silver Thatch. Was such a smooth process and everyone was so helpful.

Recharge in Paradise
We have been waiting two years for this trip and it did not disappoint! We are a group of 8 lifelong friends from the US. We came here to be together and recharge, and that’s exactly what Blue Water gave us. We spent the majority of our time in the beautiful outdoor space: enjoying the pool, hot tub, sun deck, beach, getting in morning workouts outdoors, and dining in the covered eating area. We kayaked, read, socialized, cooked many group meals in the gourmet kitchen, utilized the sound system, played cards and filled the house with laughter and memories. This house was phenomenal! Beautifully appointed, decorated and kept. The rooms were inviting and the beds comfy. The property managers were attentive and helpful, meeting us at arrival and departure to assist with luggage and answer questions. Teams combed the beach and tended the pool. Our welcome basket was fully utilized with delicious local spices, etc. It exceeded our expectations and our memories will last a lifetime. The perfect, private place to be with people you love.

Had a fantastic vacation! Really enjoyed exploring the island by day then having a nice dinner at the villa followed by hot tub at night. The property was beautiful! Spectacular views, especially the sunrises!

Our North Side Adventure
After over 15 years of coming to Grand Cayman and staying for a week or 10 days at a time on Seven Mile Beach, we were fortunate to spend over a month up at Blue Water Villa on the North side near Rum Point. The house is stunning and it was perfect with its many bedrooms, spacious kitchen and living areas, lovely landscaping and gardens, and gorgeous pool, deck and hot tub. We found the house to be clean with good towels, nice lounge chairs, enough cooking supplies and the appliances in good working order. Alan, the property manager was easy to communicate with and he made sure we had what we needed, responding to and resolving a couple of minor issues. The view of the ocean is breathtaking with the many blue colored waters continually crashing over the break wall, vigorously in windy weather and gently in calmer weather. We found the beach to be very different from 7-mile. The upper part of the beach is nice to hang out on and the sand is soft, but near the water it becomes filled with sea grass and rubbish like all the beaches on the North side. Blue Water Villa is a great spot to relax by the pool, make family dinners and use as a home base to go out and about on adventures. We rented snorkel gear from Silver Thatch and loved snorkeling at nearby Rum Point. There are lots of things to see around and under the pier. We took an outstanding evening kayak tour of nearby Bioluminescence Bay! We enjoyed the nearby Botanic Gardens seeing two blue iguanas. We hiked the Mastic Trail. Dinners on the beach at Kaibo were great with good food and drinks, and a real pizza oven. We also highly recommend Italian Kitchen for eating out or ordering in. 7-mile beach is about 45 minutes away if you want a dose of high energy, but we loved getting away from it all at Blue Water Villa.

Wish We Could Have Stayed - Coronavirus
This house looks so incredible.. wish we could’ve stayed here, but unfortunately due to the Coronavirus we couldn’t. They kept us updated and refunded us 100%, would definitely want to stay in the future

Wonderful home for a family trip
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The pool area is the best part of the property by far. Plenty of nice outdoor porch furniture and a wonderful pool.
The kitchen is well stocked along with the laundry room (tons of pool towels). It was very helpful to have a second fridge/freezer. Lots of toys for the sand for the kids and floats for the pool. The master bed was very comfortable to sleep in. I can\'t speak to the others. The main room furnishings were also very nice.
Wendy and Steve were very gracious property managers and the staff at Grand Cayman villas were very responsive too. We look forward to the scheduled 2019 improvements to the bathrooms to include more full showers for our next stay as well as the stair improvements.
If you want a reasonably priced private chef or a large family meal delivered, definitely contact Chef Steph. We also really enjoyed our meals at Kaibo upstairs (make a res here in advance). We also enjoyed Tukka, The Lighthouse, The Italian Kitchen, and Agua (Camana Bay). I don\'t recommend eating at the Rum Point restaurant at night (terrible service and warm white wine...). Casual meals at the beach restaurant were fine.

Amazing Family Villa
Villa Zara is an amazing family home! We had 10 total adults and children and never felt crowded. Large bedrooms and huge living areas. Kitchen well appointed.
The outside pool patio is very large and the covered gazebo offers relief from direct sun.
The beach is sandy and the water very calm.
We snorkeled every day, and thank you Grand Cayman Villas for the use of the snorkel gear.
Welcome staff was friendly and helpful.
Rum Point, Kaibo, starfish point are all must visits.
Dinners at Kiabo, Tukka, Lighthouse were top notch.
Taco Cantina ended up being our favorite restaurant!!!
So much to do, no one gets bored!!!

Amazing Home and Location
This was our third time staying at Villa Zara. While we miss the local managers from prior stays, the new managers were fantastic!
Most importantly the upgrades to the home are amazing. Much more contemporary look, new paint in every room, new furniture, 5th bedroom, on and on.
We are already planning our trip for 2020!

Villa Zara = Villa Extraordinaire!!!
Just back from our week at Villa Zara. We considered 4 homes in Rum Point before picking Villa Zara. We booked before the new photos were taken, and the changes and upgrades to the home are amazing. Obviously the new owners love their home and take pride in her! They should! Much credit to Grand Cayman Villas for guiding us through the process. We will be back to Grand Cayman and hopefully to Villa Zara!

Villa Zara -Excellent family experience!
Wonderful setting on the N side, tremendous views and great sunrise. The new pool and hot tub is a huge success. Very private and secure and lots of room to stretch out as we had 10 in our group. Steve (Foz) was an awesome host and there whenever we needed anything. His attitude and service was fantastic. I understand a new kitchen and other changes are in the works, once completed, this will be a 5 star house and hard to imagine many nicer places to stay. We hope to return to Villa Zara and would not hesitate to rent the house again!

Best Family Holiday
We had the best holiday here 2 couples and 4 kids.
Staff were so helpful, we arranged for groceries to be at the villa for our arrival and a meal to be cooked the first day. It was delicious.
The house and amenities were great. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Villa Zara Ranks at the Top!
We have travelled to many places around the world - but Villa Zara ranks at the top. The house is beautiful, the pool is perfect and the on-premise staff made it our best vacation ever. We visited 7-Mile beach one day - it's one of the top rated beaches in the world. We rented seadoos there - great water. We frequented Rum Point for snorkelling, used Red Sail Tours with a boat that took us to StingrayCity and Starfish point. Very fun. Also did the Bio-luminescent tour of the bay in kayaks. Went to Turtle Farm and the obligatory Tortuga Rum Cake Factory. Tukka is a nice place for dinner. Rode the bikes to Rum Point several times. Perfectly Pampered Cayman came to the villa so we could all have Swedish or deep tissue massages. We did a lot but always could not wait to get back "Home" to this House! Loved it here and hated to leave!!

TRULY MAGNIFICENT
We had a tough stretch of work and were looking for a complete getaway. Villa Zara on Grand Cayman was just the place. The house was truly magnificent and it’s situated in a part of the island that’s far away from the crowded touristy areas. We had complete seclusion, our own beach, our own large pool and an oversized Jacuzzi. The house is amazing: marble everywhere, a gourmet kitchen, a veranda from each bedroom that overlooks the sea, over the top furniture and bathroom fixtures, and all the toys you might want to use in the pool or the beach! We suggest the two seat kayak, we took it out several times and had the ocean completely to ourselves. We never saw another person. There are top-end restaurants within a short drive as well as some great places to relax for an afternoon drink and enjoy excellent local lunch food. On top of all this, our villa came with two caretakers, a really nice couple who live on the property, one of the very few villas on Cayman with this luxury. Phil maintains the grounds impeccably, while Yvonne takes care of the inside of the house and also provides first hand knowledge of things to do and places to go on the island. They even turn the lights on for us when we were out late so we wouldn’t come home to a dark house. If you want to go to the other side of the island to look around, it takes about 45 minutes. We used wazes and it navigated us perfectly. Given all this we definitely would love to come back and take others. It was tough leaving.

Scenic Private Beach
I booked Villa Zara to surprise my boyfriend on his 40th Birthday. As we drove into the driveway we were greeted with a beautiful and luxurious entrance. Yvonne and Phil were waiting our arrival and showed us around the Villa. The Villa had everything you could ever need. We spend most days outside but the real treat for us NYers was the incredible kitchen. We enjoyed making a few breakfasts and dinners while we were here. Villa Zara is the most beautiful Villa along a scenic private beach. I would love to come back when the Island is less windy. Yvonne and Phil were always close by if we needed them. Yvonne even made cupcakes for Scott’s 40th birthday! Thanks Grand Cayman and Villa Zara for an incredible birthday getaway from NYC blizzard conditions.

A Piece of Heaven on Earth
Incredible ocean front Villa with four suites. Spacious and well equipped for large groups. Pristine outdoors with heated pool & jacuzzi, bar, gazebo and beach front - not to leave the premises for an entire week. Our hosts, Yvonne, was super nice, kind, and accommodating. She kept the house and premises impeccable and went above and beyond. She greeted us with a fabulous home-made chocolate cake, set up the Christmas decor and was very attentive to any need or questions we had. THANK YOU YVONNE. !!!

Spectacular Sunrises In Paradise
Location is everything – and Villa Zara’s location is perfect. We would begin our days by watching the sunrise – which were spectacular. After breakfast our choices were many – relax by poolside, swim, walk the beach or snorkel, paddleboard or kayak. Having snorkeled in many other Caribbean locations, we think the snorkeling at Villa Zara beach is outstanding. And the ability to walk out and snorkel whenever the mood hit was wonderful. And then there’s the Villa. We loved it – plenty of room for our family of 9. Yvonne and Phil took such great care of us. We didn’t have to worry about anything. They are great people who really made us feel at home at the Villa. They were able to strike the perfect balance between personal and professional!

Amazing Views!
Our week at Villa Zara and Grand Cayman was one of the best family vacations we’ve done! The house is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views out each room. The pool, hot tub and beach area were also perfect for our family. Our active kids ages 13, 11 and 7 always found something to do. We also loved the location on the Island and the laid back style of the Rum Point area. Enjoyed exploring the beaches, restaurants and more. A special thank you to Yvonne and Phil for all that you did during our stay. You were so very welcoming to us and took such great care of the house and us each day. Serene and Picturesque
Impeccable – is the very first word that comes to mind when trying to describe our amazing stay here at Villa Zara. The property and home offer the ultimately serene and picturesque setting for the vacation of a lifetime! Yvonne and Phil made our stay perfect. They were so helpful and thoughtful from the moment we arrived from the airport. They care deeply about their guests experience and that remains evident through the last minute of your stay. The house, infinity pool, hot tub, spacious and comfortable gathering and dining areas left us (6 adults) wanting for absolutely nothing. The Island itself was friendly, easy to navigate and full of rich food and adventures. Yvonne and Phil were also helpful in steering us in the right direction. If we could give them and Villa Zara 6 stars, we would!! Yvonne even made one of our friends a cake for her birthday. Thank you SO much!!

Amazing Vacation!!
What an amazing vacation. We were two families with 5 young boys between us and Villa Zara exceeded all of our expectations. As first timers to Grand Cayman it was great having Yvonne and Phil to talk to each morning and get ideas on places to eat and the local sights. There was plenty to do in the Rum Point area but relaxing by the pool and exploring the waters behind the house were our highlights. The water and beach at Villa Zara is the best on its strip of the island. Excellent snorkeling and swimming in the numerous tide pools were some of our favorite activities with the boys. We all agreed this was one of our best vacations we’d ever had. We can’t thank Yvonne enough and the cupcakes she left for the boys throughout our trip made it extra special.

Perfect in Every Way!
We were a pack of 5 women looking for a place to celebrate 50th Birthdays and cannot imagine a better place to end up. The house was prefect in every way (location, location, location) and Yvonne and Phil did everything to address any requests. It’s a beautiful villa catering to a private and relaxing island experience. Definitely on my “favorites” list! We will be back. Truly Special Place
Villa Zara is truly a special place to enjoy all the Cayman Islands has to offer. The home itself is gorgeous, in a spectacular setting with the best personal beach on the Island! Yvonne and Phil made us feel right at home the minute we arrived. Yvonne knows the islands amenities and restaurants well and provided us with all the information we needed to make the right choices – particularly since we had windy and rainy weather for the first 3 days. The family enjoyed snorkeling (right off our own beach), kayaking, fishing, swimming with the stingrays and relaxing in the pool and hot tub. We had a family photo shoot on our beach and the patio which was lots of fun. Jenna our photographer was great. The restaurants on the Island were awesome and a highlight of our trip as well. We also enjoyed a few home cooked meals. We look forward to coming back again.

Caribbean Perfection
Villa Zara is Caribbean perfection. I spent a week here with my family to celebrate my 50th birthday. The Villa has all amenities located on site with the beach and snorkeling available rigth outside the lovely property. A special thank you to Yvonne and Phil for making our stay a special one. Upon our arrival they greeted us and made us feel at home. They were available to answer questions about the villa and the island. We loved the chocolate cake, cookies and the coconut water! Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

VILLA ZARA IS THE WAY TO GO!
e came here for celebrating our wedding at this incredible beachfront property. And what an amazing wedding it was! Nothing could have been more perfect and all the guests were amazed by the beauty of this place. One thing is how great the house and property, including the facilities are. But nothing is greater than the house manager Yvonne. From the very start after our booking she was super helpful suggesting vendors and giving tips. Always very responsive and positive! But when we met this lovely lady at the villa, we were amazed of how wonderful and helpful she was. Always doing her very best to make sure our stay was far and beyond. At the wedding day she was helping tremendously with making sure everything went smooth, and I credit her some of the reason it was such a success. When it was time to leave she even drove our parents to the airport! If you are considering doing your wedding at the beach on Grand Cayman, Villa Zara is the way to go! The same if you just want the most amazing Cayman villa experience. We could really not have been happier, and a thousand thanks again! Janne and Adel and our families What an amazing treasure to spend a glorious week here at Villa Zara. We loved the beautiful location and this was the PERFECT venue for Adel and Jannes wedding. Amazing Home- Loved the Space and Fabulous View
We had an amazing time at Villa Zara! The home is amazing, we loved the space, the pool, the fabulous view and most of all the snorkeling right outside the back door. We saw so much sea life without leaving our house! We had friends stay a few houses down and they spent lots of time with us. So the large tables, big pool and grill were great for “entertaining”. Yvonne and Phil helped make our trip amazing! From the picking up of the house daily, to the wonderful recommendations and the genuine love and care they show to their guest! We hope to return soon!

It Feels Like Home!
Our stay at Villa Zara has been wonderful! The onsite management is superb. Each day the villa is cleaned to perfection and trash is removed. Bottled water is also replenished daily. The home is cared for and the view is spectacular. Try not to book too many excursions, you will want to spend some quality time at the pool enjoying the ocean. The caretakers were great with kids and always willing to chat or offer directions. Great time, hope to visit again! Thank you Yvonne and Phil!! Breathtakingly Beautiful
What an amazing week! Villa Zara is breathtakingly beautiful. We so enjoyed our time on the beach and lounging by the beautiful pool area. We enjoyed snorkeling, fishing, the turtle farm, Stingray City and much more! Our favorite restaurant was Tukka. Everyone on the island has been so friendly and hospitable. Especially Yvonne and Phil! They greeted us our first day and Yvonne even made us a chocolate cake, much to the delight of the children! They helped make our visit in this beautiful place extra special!

Exceeds Your Expectations!
Our time spent at Villa Zara was exceptional in every way. My husband and I had our older children and friends join us for our family vacation. Four from Alabama and two from New York. We also have a four year old son. All of the children had a fabulous time. My husband and I enjoyed private time with our family in this fabulous home, including cooking together and enjoying time at the pool and on the beach! There was truly something for everyone! It was so much better than staying at a resort. Phil and Yvonne were wonderful and inviting. They made sure that everything was perfect. Our little guy especially enjoyed the chocolate cupcakes that Yvonne so kindly baked for us. Villa Zara exceeded our expectations and we will definitely visit again in the future. Awesome Pool and Beach
Wonderful family vacation at Villa Zara. The house was beautiful with awesome pool and beach. Plenty of activities including beach volleyball, snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. Yvonne and Phil were very helpful. They took great care of us and had great recommendations. We would definitely make a return trip back to Villa Zara!!!

Villa Zara Truly is Paradise
We got treated to a wonderful vacation, thank you Tessie and Charlie (Grandma & Pa). This is a great place. Our two kids had a blast in the pool and “Cajuzzi”! Thank you. Exceeds Expectations!
We had hyped ourselves up on Villa Zara for months, and somehow it still exceeded our expectations! The house is stunning, the pool area and ocean view/access is sublime and Yvonne and Phil took extremely good care of us and the place. They had recommendations for anything and everything and were even sweet enough to bake me a cake for my birthday. The location of the house was ideal for us – away from the crowds but still close enough to Rum Point, Kaibo Beach, the East End and other places of interest. Probably the most memorable vacation anybody in our group has ever had, and Villa Zara really helped put it over the top.

SPECIAL PLACE TO STAY
What a lovely home away from home. We had a spectacular holiday. Villa Zara is a very special place to stay. Cayman Island was a new island for us to visit and the villa was perfect. A special thank you to Yvonne and Phil for helping our boating adventure. Yvonne was truly helpful with suggestions for activities, restaurants etc on the island. The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.
The oceanfront homes in Rum Point offer great reef-protected snorkeling. The beaches usually have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky iron shore with natural rock formations.
The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as the swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear pool shoes or fins for foot protection.
The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, water sports, and dining options. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar, and marina.
Lastly, we have 2 large resorts in the East End, Morritt's and The Reef. Both are open to the public offering manicured beaches as well as restaurants. A modern grocery store, liquor store, and The Italian Kitchen can be found in a shopping plaza across the street.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.
The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Rate Details
- 13% Occupancy Tax added to all rates
- 12.90% Guest Service Fee includes your Silver Thatch Membership
- 3.50% Admin Fee applied to all reservations
- Villa requires a $2,500 refundable excess cleaning and damages deposit
Booking Rules
- 5 nights minimum stay required.
- 6 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
- No events permitted.
- No scuba tanks permitted in the swimming pool or spa.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
